Chemistry. The main subject for a medical university. If you do not know chemistry at a high level, you can go to medical, but studying here will be extremely difficult. Physics. In some universities and majors, this subject replaces chemistry. It is found among specialized subjects in medical universities infrequently, therefore its presence should be clarified in a particular university. For example, physics may be among the specialized ones at the dental department of a medical university.

Russian language. The subject is not specialized, but required for delivery. Since competitions for admission to medical universities are extremely high, good points in the Russian language can correct the picture of the overall score if other subjects fail to pass excellently. However, do not forget that you have to study at a medical university, so in-depth knowledge must be obtained in specialized specialties.

The first three years of study, students of medical universities do not have specialization, therefore it is easier to choose the direction of study for applicants than other students. It is worth choosing upon admission the specialization "General Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Pharmacy", "Dentistry" and then after completing the 3rd course choose a specialization.

Some graduates of the 9th and even 11th grades first enter a medical college, and only then pass exams at a university. This is a good option for those who are not sure of getting high scores for the exam and do not want to pay a lot of money for tuition at a paid department. After a medical college, you can enroll in a specialized specialty at a medical university immediately for the 3rd year, or with good preparation pass the USE and try to go on a budget. Often, medical colleges have their own colleges, which then gladly accept graduates to continue their studies under the university program.
