The main difficulty in expanding the vocabulary in a foreign language, as a rule, is that people try to remember as many words as possible without associating them with reality, and the human brain operates with images. As a result, the English words in the head are mixed into porridge, from which it is very difficult to extract the currently needed simple word. To prevent this from happening, try not only to memorize a word or expression in English, but immediately correlate it with one way or another. Books and films in English help well in this, but it is better to watch a movie with English subtitles, since spoken English is initially very difficult to perceive.

For example, the English word circle (circle) sounds like the word "circus", which has a round arena.
