Learning formulas is a prerequisite for all students. By and large, all study consists of a qualitative explanation of occurring phenomena (i.e. verbal) and quantitative explanation (using formulas). Most often, it is the second part that interests teachers in exams and tests.

The first step in studying a group of formulas is to study the quantities that make up their composition. Simply put, you should clearly understand what a particular letter means, to distinguish variables from constant coefficients.

Next, you need to understand the essence of the dependency. That is, you have to figure out why when one value changes, another changes. It is necessary to analyze whether the dependence is direct / inverse proportionality, or is non-linear.

You should use the fact that visual information is memorized much better than its other types. It is necessary to build graphs of the dependence of one quantity on another. Then you better understand the essence of the formula, therefore, it will firmly settle in your memory.

Self-examination is the most important part of consolidating educational material. You can use such a non-standard method - write down on a piece of paper a group of formulas with empty squares in each. An empty square must be left in place of one of the values. After some time after you make these “checklists”, start testing. In place of an empty square, you need to write the letter from the formula. It is advisable to photocopy several such sheets in order to check yourself several times.
