How to go to college without exams

The choice of an educational institution is a serious and responsible step, it is the choice of your future path along which you may take more than a dozen years. But suppose you have chosen a prestigious college in which applicants have to withstand a considerable competition. Are there ways to preferential college entrance?

First, study, study and study again. High points of GIA or Unified State Exam + a good certificate significantly increase your chances of entering the chosen educational institution.

Finish school with a medal. If you go to college after grade 11, school gold and silver gives you a significant advantage. The gold medal is awarded to schoolchildren who have a certificate with one of fives and have passed the Unified State Examination in both the Russian language and mathematics by no less than 75 points.

Take part in the olympiads. The winner of the All-Russian Subject Olympiad has the right to become a student of any university or college of Russia of his choice. Regional olympiads can become a stepping stone to a college of local importance. In addition, as school practice shows, participants in the olympiads experience significantly less difficulties in passing the exam or the State Examination.

Participate in all kinds of competitions and contests while studying at school, play sports, master professional skills that may be useful in your chosen professional field. There have been cases when a good athlete or a talented artist was admitted to the school without any exams in the expectation that this student will represent this college during the competition.

Receive documents that provide the right to preferential admission. Out of the competition in our country, orphans, disabled people of 2-3 groups, participants in hostilities, people who have served in the army and sent for training by the unit commander, minor citizens with a single disabled parent are enrolled. All the same, you will have to take exams, but they will only require you to score a minimum score.

Communication can play an important role. Use all the hidden features, and it is possible that the doors of the selected college will open before you even without exams.
