How to write an essay on the play Cherry Orchard
Writing essays on a work of art ends the system of lessons on the work of any outstanding writer. The last play by A.P. Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard" is studied in the 10th grade of high school. With this work, the author, as it were, summed up the stable theme of Russian literature of the second half of the 19th century - the fate of the noble nests. The author’s design of the work is difficult for schoolchildren to perceive; the creation of an essay is even more difficult for them.

The compositional composition of the composition is traditional: introduction, main part, conclusion. The absence of one of the structural elements is considered as an error and is taken into account when rating.

Avoid a detailed retelling of the plot of the work, the presentation of information that is not related to the topic. If you write, for example, about the concept of "comic" in the play "The Cherry Orchard", note its manifestation in the work: consider the characters of Epikhodov, Simeonov-Pishchik; analyze the method of parody reduction of plot moves in the scenes of the fateful auction and the tricks of Charlotte; give an example of episodes characterizing the relationship of characters with the world of things.

In the final part of the work, express your own attitude to the work and its heroes. The task of the conclusion is to summarize all that has been said, to state our own position on a specific problem. The decoration of the finale of creative work can be a short, but capacious phrase related to the open topic. There are many such phrases in the play, for example: “All of Russia is our garden” (words by Petya Trofimov); “Life passed, as if it didn’t live” (Firs); "My life, my youth, my happiness, goodbye!" (Love Andreevna Ranevskaya).
