It is not necessary to wait until the end of grade 11 in order to start learning a profession. After the 9th grade, a student can enter a secondary special educational institution, where he not only graduates from the school curriculum, but can also receive a diploma for further employment.

Choose the profession you want to get. In secondary specialized educational institutions - colleges - there is a wide selection of professions. You can become an accountant, an assistant to a lawyer, a nurse, and even get a pedagogical education that allows you to work in kindergarten or in the lower grades of the school. In addition, there are training programs for workers. After college and technical school, you can also graduate from a university by enrolling in a special shortened study program or by completing a general competition. Keep in mind that the duration of studies in a secondary vocational school may vary depending on the profession - from 2 years for many working specialties to 4 years at a medical or music college.

Find a suitable college or technical school for training. To do this, use the search on the Internet or purchase a collection of applicants with a list of universities and colleges in your city. Call the admissions committee of colleges and find out the conditions for admission of students. In most cases, training after grade 9 is carried out at the expense of the budget, but there are exceptions, so ask about the cost of training. Also find out the list and schedule of entrance exams and deadlines for submitting documents.

If you want to go to college, find out if there is a college affiliated with the university you want to partner with. In some cases, after graduating from such a college, you will be able to enter a university under the reduced program of exams. It will also be easier for you to take into account subjects that you have already studied in vocational schools.

Please note that unlike technical schools and colleges, training in a vocational school does not allow you to enter an abbreviated program at a university, since vocational schools are an institution of primary rather than secondary vocational education.
