What documents are needed for the school

In autumn, parents will take their first-graders to school. In order to start the school year, you need to properly prepare for it in the spring. First of all - to collect the necessary documents for the school. The more quickly parents cope with this task, the more time will be left for the emotional preparation of the child for the first school year.

According to the new order "On Approving the Procedure for Admitting Citizens to General Education Institutions, " the school to which you can send your child should be geographically closest to your home. This is where you need to go and write an application for admission to first grade. Recording starts now on the first of March, by this time prepare the necessary documents for the school.

To apply, collect the package of necessary documents. It includes: a child’s birth certificate (and a copy), passports of parents with a residence permit, a medical policy of the child, a photograph of the baby 3x4. In some cases, they may ask for a certificate of registration of a child from the Housing Office.

Pay special attention to medical records. If the baby visited a kindergarten, you need to pick up a card, which will indicate all the specialists passed and the tests passed. In case the child was at home, contact your pediatrician. You will be given directions for the necessary tests, and they will also be given a list of specialists who need to be examined. All results will be recorded in a special medical card, with which you must come to school.

The child must have a certificate, which indicates vaccinations affixed by age. If you wrote an application for refusal of vaccination, you need to consult a pediatrician separately how to act in this case.

You can send a child to school, according to the order of the Department of Education, from the age of 6.5. At the request of the parents of the baby who has not reached the age of 6.5 years, you can also send for training. To do this, you must individually obtain permission from the Department of Education of the Russian Federation. Note that the child should not have any medical contraindications.

The standard age for admission to the 1st grade is 6.5 - 7 years. Some of the children go to school after kindergarten, some - right from home. The absence of a preschool educational institution in a child’s biography cannot be a reason for refusing to enroll in first grade. Please note that according to the new rules, testing for admission to a secondary school should not be conducted. If you agreed to it, make a reservation with the management in advance that the results will not affect the decision to accept the child in school. Only specialized lyceums and gymnasiums have official permission for such verification.
