Modern schools in the conditions of fierce competition implement educational services. Parents choose an educational institution based on many components: a strong teaching staff, new innovative technologies, etc. One of the components is the educational program implemented by the school.

How to draw up a school curriculum so that it complies with the federal state educational standard and includes components that would make the educational institution in demand in the parental environment competitive?

When compiling an educational program, one should strictly adhere to certain requirements. So, the volume of components of the main educational program should not only be in accordance with the standards established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, but also harmoniously combined with the regional component - the part that is formed directly by the educational institution itself.
Thus, the basis of any educational program of the school is the federal state educational standard, and the list and number of regional components is included in it, based on the direction of training implemented in the school.
For example, an educational institution is a local history site. Then it would be logical to include such subjects as local history or ethnography in the educational program.
But during development, you should pay attention to the following requirements:
80% - an obligatory part of the main educational program in accordance with the standard;
20% - is formed directly in the educational institution by participants in the educational process.
These requirements are contained in paragraph 15 of GEF NOU.

The educational program is usually developed in accordance with the following levels of education: primary general education, basic general education and secondary (complete) general education.

What directions can the school curriculum have? There are a lot of them. Here are some of them: the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture, spiritual and moral development, artistic and aesthetic, local history, etc.
In accordance with the chosen direction, in order to achieve the planned results, one can consider a question that will be reflected in the educational program, about increasing study hours for studying individual subjects or organizing courses, seminars, etc.

School must develop. In many respects, it depends on what educational program underlies the learning process. If innovative activity is laid in it, this will be in demand in modern society.
