Only citizens with full secondary education are admitted to higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Those who wish to study at educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the end of the 9th grade can enter the police school. As a rule, young men with permanent registration in the region where the educational institution is located are accepted there. For example, only young men are admitted to Colleges No. 1 and No. 2 in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

Get a referral for a medical examination. The medical board is held in June at the polyclinic at the place of residence and in the military medical commission (HVAC).

After you have successfully passed the commission and received the HVAC decision on fitness for service, your personal file is sent to the educational institution. This will be followed by passing a test for the use of narcotic drugs, after which you will be allowed to pass the entrance tests.
Due to the specifics of the profile of the institution, the main exam is a test of your physical fitness. You need to perform the following exercises: running 100 meters, pulling up on the horizontal bar for boys and a comprehensive strength exercise for girls, endurance running 2000 meters for boys and 1000 meters for girls.
Performance standards for young men (excellent - good - satisfactory): for a hundred meters (sec) - 13.6; 14.2; 14.8; pull-ups - 12; ten; 6; endurance run (min, sec) - 7.50; 8.10; 9.00.

In addition to physical training, you will have exams in the Russian language (in writing, in the form of a dictation, presentation or composition) and the history of Russia (orally). Enrollment takes place in a competitive selection process based on the results of all tests passed.

Since the passage of a medical board and the execution of a personal file require a lot of time (up to three months), it is better to file an application in advance, at the beginning of the year.
