How to get to the Suvorov School

The Suvorov form is a great honor, which most boys dream of. But, unfortunately, those who want to study at the Suvorov School have vague ideas about the order of admission. Underage citizens of the Russian Federation who have graduated from the eighth grade of a general education institution and are not older than 15 years can enter the school. What order should be followed if the boy decided to enter the Suvorov school?

Contact your local military registration and enlistment office, there they will help you to draw up a statement correctly and will accept the following documents:

• a certificate of the place of work and the nature of the work of your parents or of persons who will replace them, • a certificate from the place of residence of the parents, which indicates the composition of the family housing conditions, • a copy of a medical policy notarized, • four photos in size 3x4, • medical report on the state of medical health issued by the medical commission at the military registration and enlistment office, • pedagogical characteristics, signed by the class teacher and principal, sealed with the official seal, • report card with grades for three quarters of the current year, indicating the studied foreign language, certified with the official seal of the school, • autobiography, • a certified copy of the birth certificate, • a statement from the candidate written in the name of the head of the school.

At the military registration and enlistment office you should receive a request for a free military transportation document to and from your destination.

Entrance exams are held from August 1 to 15. The group of candidates is accompanied by a special escort from the military registration and enlistment office, directly to the military school, although parents can go with the applicant if they wish. The school provides applicants with free accommodation and meals on their territory.

If you pass the exams, you must do out of competition if you:

• children of military personnel who are raised without a mother or father, • children of military personnel who serve in the zone of military conflicts, • children of military personnel who died in the performance of duties, or died as a result of injury or illness received in the performance of duties, • children of military personnel who are transferred to the reserve due to health reasons, upon achievement of military service duties, or whose total military service is more than twenty years, • children of military personnel who have a total duration of military service of more than twenty years, or undergo military service under a contract.
