The competition for one place in the cadet school is much larger than in some universities. And all because many parents want to see their child strong, courageous and well-educated. So the boys go to study in the cadet corps.

The revival of cadet schools and colleges began when the children began to spend too much time on the street, left to their own devices. First of all, such educational institutions were designed for children from socially disadvantaged and dysfunctional families. And today, cadet education has reached the level of pre-revolutionary Russia and is now considered to be very elite. That is why many parents, even quite well-off and prosperous, want to send their child to study in the cadet corps.

To become a pupil of a cadet school, you need to provide a number of documents. It includes a certificate of the child’s health, an extract from the personal file, a certificate of academic performance (needed for those who enter grade 5) and a document confirming the social status of the child. This paragraph applies to those children who are orphans, are brought up in a large and low-income family, children from military families where one of the parents died during the performance of official duties, and other categories of socially vulnerable children.

After you pass these necessary documents to the selection committee, entrance tests for the child will begin. As a rule, they include various interviews and psychological tests. Based on the results of these conversations, students are selected for school.

Accepted at the threshold - a child who has completed elementary school. The decision for the baby, as a rule, is made by the parents. And on this basis there are many condemnations against those who decided to send their child to the cadets. Militant-minded parents believe that this is because adults who give the child into the housing simply do not want to do it on their own.
