How to make a list of references in the term paper

By writing a term paper, the study of most basic subjects at a higher educational institution ends. It is very important to correctly list the sources used for writing the work.

Before completing the bibliography in the course work, you must make a list of all regulatory legal acts, books, periodicals to which you refer in the work. Often, transfers also require those sources that influenced your conclusion, but were not actually voiced in the course.

First of all, the list of references lists normative legal acts in the order of their legality. Start with a description of international legal acts, then list the basic laws of the state (Constitution and codes), federal laws, government decrees, presidential decrees, etc. Each legal source must have the full name, date of last change, place and year of publication.

Further in the list of references it is necessary to list monographs and study guides, articles in periodicals. Their description begins with the name of the author or team of authors, then the full name and output are written. All of this information can be rewritten from the flyleaf of the book. For an article in a magazine or newspaper, you must also specify page numbers.

Sometimes books and articles in periodicals in the list of references require to be divided into two sections. The listed works are placed in the bibliographic list either in alphabetical order (in this case, the works are first listed in Russian, and then in foreign), or in the order of use in the work.

Separately issued electronic sources. In order to properly format them, in the list of references it is necessary to indicate the name of the article or site and the full Internet address.

The bibliography should have continuous numbering. It is also formatted as the rest of the text of the work (as a rule, 14 Times New Roman font with one and a half spacing between lines with a paragraph of 1.25).
