How to learn sheet music

With very good hearing, a person can learn to play musical instruments without notes. The ability to pick up simple chords by ear can be enough to pick up the accompaniment to the song. But for the performance of more complex musical works, notes are, of course, necessary. It is better to learn them immediately, so that you do not have to count the rulers every time.

It is most convenient to learn notes using the piano keyboard. It’s not necessary to buy a piano for this. With a computer, it’s very easy to install a virtual keyboard. There are special programs that establish the relationship between the written note and the real sound.

Find the image of the stave. It can be in a music notebook, a self-instruction manual for playing a musical instrument or on a computer screen. You will see that the lines in the musical line are exactly five. The intervals between the rulers, respectively, four.

Consider the key that is written at the beginning of the musician. The keys are different, but two are most often used: the treble clef, it is also called the “salt key”, and the bass, which is also called the “f key”. Pay attention to where the curl of the treble clef is located. It is located on the second ruler, and this means that at this place the note is written the salt of the first octave.

Find the sound of salt on the keyboard. To do this, first find the group of three black keys. The key, which is located between the left and middle black keys, gives a sound of salt.

Remember the names of notes that you probably know. Do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-si-do. The note "salt is in the middle. Put a pencil on the second line of the musical staff or a mouse on the same line of the virtual musician. Find where the previous note of the scale is. It will be located between the first and second lines. Find it on the keyboard. It will be adjacent to the left side white key. In the same way, count out all the other notes and sounds on the keyboard. The note "mi" is written on the first line, the note "d" - under the first line, the note "do" - on the first additional. Associate the notes with the corresponding keys.

In the same way, count the notes up the musical bearer and the keys to the right of the one that indicates the sound of salt. Be sure to pay attention to the fact that between some white keys there is black, and between others it is not. The distance between two adjacent keys is half a tone. Count between which white keys the interval is 12 tones, and between which the whole tone. This may turn out to be important when switching to another instrument, where the ratio between the position of a key and a note on a musical instrument is not so obvious.
