The title page is the first page of your written scientific work. Making a title page requires compliance with certain rules, even if it is a simple school essay.

Instruction manual

one

It has long been customary to take written educational work in printed form. If your school, college or university accepts hand-written works, the requirements for the design of your work are still the same for everyone. Do not indicate unnecessary information on the cover page. If you are writing by hand, do not use bright multi-colored ink and an embellished handwriting style. Both form and content should be rigorous and clear. Do not use illustrations and photographs if this is serious work (illustrations are acceptable in children's creative works, but not in abstracts, term papers, and diploma projects).

2

If you print your work on the computer, set the necessary fields, as well as the font size and style, standard for the whole work. Set the upper and lower margins to 20 mm, left - 30 mm, right - 10 mm. The common font size is 14 points, and the style is Times New Roman. Select the topic name not by changing the style or font size, but by the case of letters. Print all data without stepping back from the red line.

3

Set the center line alignment for all the information indicated on the cover page, except for data about you as the executor of the work and your manager who will check the work - this information is aligned to the right.

4

At the very top of the sheet, indicate the full name of your educational institution, below is the name of the department (if it is not a school or gymnasium).

5

In the center, type the name of the topic of your work in capital letters. Do not put the word "Subject" in front of the name, and do not use quotation marks.

6

Under the title of the topic, indicate what type of work you performed (essay, report, term paper, etc.) and the discipline in which you covered this topic (for example, an essay on natural sciences).

7

Set the alignment to the right edge of the sheet and indicate your last name and initials, as well as the class or course. Below, also on the right, indicate the data of who is your head (teacher) in the subject: his name and initials, position, academic degree.

eight

Above the lower border in the center, indicate the place (name of the settlement) and the time of writing the work (year).

9

Do not put dots on the title page at the end of the line.

ten

Consider the title page as the first page in your work, but do not put the page number on it. Numbering start on the next page where you will place the content (table of contents).
