How to emphasize a word

Very often situations arise related to difficulties in writing the stress in a word (when this requires necessity). In fact, there is nothing complicated.

In the word in which you want to stress, place the cursor in front of the shock letter.

Go to the menu "Insert" (Insert) select the command "Symbol" (Symbol). A window will open.

On the right in the “Subset” field, select the “Combining Diacritical Marks” line and click on the accent symbol.

Click "Insert" and close the window. An accent appears above the desired letter.

If you have Word 2003, then the cursor at the first stage must be installed not before the letter, but after.
