During schooling, a collective personality is formed in the child, which is displayed in the relationship between the student and the people around him. An important role in this process is played by the chosen model of behavior, which sometimes can be quite eccentric.

One of the features of the children's psyche is the desire to oppose themselves to their peers, attracting more and more attention of society. Sometimes for this the child chooses a very non-standard model of behavior, bordering on sociopathy. This phenomenon is quite common and quite understandable, but hides a number of problems that require mandatory resolution. On the one hand, the desire to stand out as defiant behavior can be considered normal, but the desire to go beyond moral and social norms should be avoided in every way.

Communication behavior with peers

In the circle of friends, the student has the full and legal right to stand out, emphasizing his own personality. Often, the main driving factor in determining the course followed by a young man or girl in determining himself as a person, more valuable than everyone else, is fashion and its corresponding trends. The paradox here is that the child seeks to show individuality while acting in a completely opposite vector - gaining attributes that indicate belonging to a culture defined by the same type of majority. Instead of following the direction of development opposite the crowd, which really makes the child unique, he seeks to jump above his head in the general mass of his own kind. An example of this is fashionable clothing, a manner of communication, used speech turnovers and fascination with objects of art that are characteristic of most children. It is not always good when a claim for a good is born in the child’s head, not supported by the material situation of the parents, or, for example, by their own abilities. Instead of choosing another, more suitable path of development, the student begins to behave too defiantly, sometimes inadequately, which can no longer be taken for granted.

Relations with teachers

The gap between generations of teachers and students is huge, which is expressed in the conflict of views, moral principles and norms of social behavior. On this basis, a conflict often arises that defines the teacher in the eyes of the child as an annoying interlocutor who does not have any real power over him. On the one hand, the child must understand that this is indeed so, but still it is not necessary to cross the line of respect. No one forces one to accept the point of view dictated by the teacher, but to listen and try to understand the essence of the problem for a maturing and interested person is not only easy, but also very useful.
