To provide an annual study leave, you need to take a certificate-call at the university. This certificate contains information about the student, gives confirmation of his studies at this educational institution, and informs about the beginning of the session and the dates of exams. Based on this certificate, the accountant calculates the dates of study leave and payments for it. Payment of study leave is made according to the same calculations as for ordinary.

To obtain permission to leave, an employee writes a statement addressed to the head of his company. A statement-call from the university should be attached to the application. After the end of the study leave and the last exam, the employee brings to the employer a certificate of confirmation from the university about the passed session. The confirmation certificate is filled out and certified by the educational institution.

After receiving the application, the employer signs an order for study leave. In this form of vacation it does not matter what the employee’s total work experience for the work year is, therefore, the line of the order about the period of work is simply not filled out. Such an order must be provided to the employee for review and signing. In addition, information on the provision of this leave is entered in the personal card of the employee and must be noted on the timesheet.

The organization where the employee works will provide study leave only if the following conditions are met. The educational institution has state accreditation, the employee is his student and is studying successfully, and receives an education of this level for the first time. The student works at the main place of work, because when working to combine study leave, he will not receive it, in this case he can only count on leave at his own expense. The study leave cannot be extended even with the likelihood of a retake, nor can it be canceled by paying the employee monetary compensation, as is possible with a regular holiday.
