How to finish a reasoning essay

The essay-reasoning is part of the tests of the Unified State Exam in Russian. Its meaning is to analyze a previously unknown passage of text. This form of creative work should maximally show the student’s ability to think and substantiate his opinion.

The structure of the essay-discussion includes the following main parts: introduction, analysis of the problem and the author’s position, argumentation of the student’s own opinion and conclusion. The conclusion gives the text completeness. It summarizes all of the above. In this part, you need to briefly and clearly state your conclusions and emotions. The effective conclusion contains no more than 5-6 sentences.
