How to learn social studies

Schoolchildren who are going to connect their lives with jurisprudence, psychology, sociology, must pass the exam in social studies. However, it is best to start preparing for this exam a few months before it begins.

Break the material of the textbook and lectures into sections related to various areas of society: political, economic, social and spiritual. Learn all the basic terms that characterize each of these areas.

Compose a 2-column label: term and its definition. So you will be able to quickly restore everything you need in memory immediately before passing the exam.

Prepare cards. Write on each of them a definition of the term or the term itself, but without a definition. Have a friend or family check these cards with you.

Make a chronological table of acts, laws, political, economic, philosophical, etc. systems. Each table should have 4 columns: dates, system, description, figures. In this way you organize all course materials.

Draw schemes in which the ways and methods of interaction of various public institutions should be reflected. Such schemes can also be arranged in chronological order, to illustrate how the structure of social relations has changed over the centuries.

You can teach social studies in the usual way: from simple to complex. However, do not forget that, firstly, some questions can only seem simple, and, secondly, without strong knowledge of simple topics, you will never understand the rest. And of course, don't forget the terminology.

If it is difficult for you to master the course materials on your own, ask your parents to hire a tutor, especially if you intend to go to college in the future. Explain to them that paying for tutoring services cannot be compared to paying for tuition at a university.

Get textbooks and teaching aids that have the signature stamp of FIPI (Federal Institute for Pedagogical Research). Only such educational literature contains reliable and complete information about the subject.
