How to learn a foreign language by immersion

The knowledge of at least one additional language may become a checkpoint for a higher paid position or simply remove the language barrier between people speaking different languages. Learning a foreign language is not an easy task, but using the immersion method you can achieve faster results without spending hours on dictionaries and grammar books.

It is difficult to learn a foreign language, giving it only 30-60 minutes a day. In order to quickly and correctly learn how to speak a foreign language, as well as understand its native speakers, you need to use the immersion method. What does it mean?

From birth, a person is immersed in that atmosphere, in a society where everyone speaks his native language, he has no other choice, and he willy-nilly begins to speak the same language. This principle is embedded in the immersion method. In order to quickly begin to understand another language, you need to "immerse" yourself in the atmosphere of that language. Of course, it’s not necessary to go to another country for this. At home, it is possible to recreate such an atmosphere.

First, pay attention to grammar, learn the alphabet, the most common phrases and sentences. Watch movies in the language you want to learn. First you can watch with Russian subtitles, and then watch without subtitles, try to understand what the film is about, remember the phrases. Listen to foreign radio, try to read the news in the language you want to learn. Read books, magazines, newspapers in a foreign language.

Register on special sites and forums and communicate with native speakers of the language you need. Ask them to explain incomprehensible words to you. At home, paste stickers with the name of this or that thing, it will be easier to learn new words. It is very good if you do not learn the language alone, but, for example, with your spouse or girlfriend. In this case, you should communicate among themselves exclusively in a foreign language. In general, all that you can listen to, watch, read and speak Russian, do it in the language you want to learn. At first it will be very difficult and nothing is clear, but gradually the knowledge will be replenished, the practice will be improved. Soon you will learn to understand foreign speech, and then gradually learn to speak. Constantly improve your knowledge and skills, completely immersed in the atmosphere of the language being studied. You will learn better and better.

Learning a foreign language is not a simple matter and requires quite a lot of time and great effort. But if you bring this language into your everyday day and make it a part of your life, then everything will go much faster and easier.
