Russian is incredibly complicated. It is clear to us, Russian speakers, what a view is, for example. And foreigners have to interpret this, compose exercises, select appropriate texts, so that they can understand everything, as we do. Teaching is a complicated thing, and it becomes even more complicated when you have to explain what you understand at an intuitive level.

Determine your students' language proficiency. Full zero or does he already know the simplest phrases? It also happens that a person speaks freely in a language, he understands and understands him, but at the same time he makes mistakes, the negative effect of which is eliminated through gestures and facial expressions. For each of these cases, you need to create your own program.

The group is another story. Here you need to determine the average level of language proficiency. If you do not, do not expect the weak to reach for the strong. The weak will just give up because they don’t understand anything.

2

Choose how you will work - with or without an intermediary language - and immediately explain to the student (or group) your choice. If a person already has some basic knowledge, it is very important to stimulate him by talking with him in the language being studied. But you do not need to do this if this approach only complicates the process.

When working with groups, this choice often does not remain: for example, when people from different countries study together who do not know each other's language and do not know English. In this case, you will either have to use the existing basic knowledge and slowly, clearly pronounce the phrases that control the educational process, or get out and explain these basic things on the fingers.

3

An explanation on the fingers often has to be used when meeting new words. Masters advise using translation only as a test of understanding. The words themselves need to be semantized - to explain the meaning through pictures, gestures, playing entire situations or determining in Russian, the latter only works for an advanced level.

4

Lessons need to be made as fun as possible. If outgoing, simple people have gathered in your group, then the games will help you a lot. They can stir up a beech too - it is unlikely that you will have to work with a completely closed person who does not make good contact. But if the student does not want to enter the game, you do not need to force him.

Use interesting texts, videos for lessons. Take topics that students are interested in. Ask their opinion more often, do not impose your own. And, when they already more or less master the vocabulary and grammar, put them in a situation of real communication, for example, if you have the theme "Restaurant", then in the end you need to go to a real restaurant.

5

Remember that in Russian as a foreign language lessons, new vocabulary should be given on the basis of the old grammar, and a new grammar should be given on the basis of already passed words and expressions. So you will ensure the correct assimilation and consolidation of the material, and it will not be too difficult for your students to understand you.
