Before performing phonetic analysis of a word, it is necessary to recall the letters of the Russian alphabet. What signs can combine and contrast them. The letters are divided into vowels and consonants. The vowels in the alphabet are -10: a, y, e, s, o, e, i, u, u, e; the remaining 23 are consonants.
