How to make a crossword on geography

Crossword compilation is one of the most interesting school assignments. During its creation, the student not only shows his knowledge of the subject, but also joins in a certain game. After all, it is important to come up with such questions that will become difficult for classmates and at the same time fascinating task.

Make up questions for the crossword puzzle. If you are not asked a specific topic, try to make it diverse, so that while solving it you can test your knowledge in various fields of geography. Write a list of all sections of this science. Pick up 2-3 questions from each of them. As an aid, you can use textbooks, dictionaries of geographical terms and names. The answer to the question should be a word in the nominative case, without hyphens and apostrophes. Try to keep the middle ground between all known facts and highly specialized knowledge.

Write the answer words to the crossword puzzle. Divide them into two equal groups so that each contains approximately the same number of long words.

Place the first half of the list horizontally on the sheet. Then add vertical answers to them, substituting them in places with matching letters. On the ruler, draw a grid of cells, each of which corresponds to one letter. The distance between adjacent words in the same row must be at least one empty cell. Answers located side by side horizontally and vertically can touch the corners of the cells.

You can fix the crossword puzzle in the computer. Create a table in your Word document, each cell of which corresponds to a letter. Fill the filled cells with color. If you plan to print a crossword puzzle, make the borders of the involved cells visible.

In the upper left corner of each cell, put the number of the question. It will mean the number of tasks for both words starting with this cell - both vertical and horizontal.

In accordance with the numbering, type the texts of all the questions. Then rewrite all the answers and remove the letters from the boxes.
