Instruction manual

one

In order for your architectural model, which reflects the actual situation on the ground, to correspond exactly to it, you need a topographic map of this area. The scale of the map should not be smaller than 1: 1000-1: 2000. On this map, existing roads, pavements, vegetation with freestanding trees, as well as buildings and structures, must be plotted. All buildings and structures must be marked in accordance with the applicable symbols and have a mark on the number of floors. If the scheme is on paper - scan it and translate it into electronic form.

2

Using any graphic editor, make a copy of this diagram, leaving only the contours you need - roads, surfaces, flower beds, lawns, buildings and structures. Zoom in and out for your task. Strictly adhere to this chosen scale in your future actions. Print a copy with the contours and stick it on a thick sheet of cardboard - a base. On the contours of foam board or paper, cut roads, driveways and sidewalks, paint them gray and stick to the base. From thin cardboard coated with light green paint, cut out flower beds and lawns. Stick them on the places where they should be on the diagram.

3

Cut out the foam in the form of parallelepipeds of the building and structure in accordance with the scale at which you make the layout. You can find out their real approximate height by increasing the number of floors noted in the diagram by 2.7 m - the average floor height for residential buildings. You can paint the cut structures in any colors and stick each in its place on the base, which is marked with a contour.

4

If you have a color printer, then building facades with painted entrance doors and windows, you can draw and print on paper, and then cut and paste onto foam blanks.

5

Make trees from dried flowers, covering them with green paint from an aerosol spray. They can also be made of dry branched branches, on which are dressed pieces of green foam painted with green paint. Place them on the layout according to the scheme, using plasticine for this.
