Start with the fact that the child needs to be rid of all distractions. First of all, this applies to entertainment in the face of a computer that absorbs your child’s time with all kinds of, not at all developing games. Another thing is if the child really uses it as self-development. In modern conditions, when everything around is built on computer technology, to ban a child from using a computer is even inappropriate.

Next in line for the restriction is a TV. Just don't turn it on and don't let the child do it. Explain to him that in addition to the computer and the TV, there are many other entertainments, including mental and physical activity. And the most insidious on this list is laziness. Fighting her is difficult, but possible.

If you managed to overcome the above, it's time to study. Make sure that the child does absolutely all the homework. And not through the stump of the deck, but in good faith, using additional, say, literature. Tell the child that it would be great if he was not afraid, not shy, and answered each lesson. Soon, he will begin to enjoy the encouragement for a response from teachers and will begin to take the initiative to study.

By the way, about teachers. Teach your child to communicate well and productively with them. Let him at least portray in lessons that he likes the subject of this teacher. This will flatter the teacher and subsequently, possibly, save the student from circumstances unforeseen in the classroom (in case, for example, if he did not manage to complete homework).

Classmates are also a factor in school performance. If the company is good, not only will it not interfere with the child’s learning, but it will also help. Mutual assistance has not yet been canceled.

In addition, the life of the school itself should not be discounted. An active student is remembered not only by teachers, but also encouraged by the director. Successful participation in olympiads and similar events is an opportunity to receive all kinds of certificates, which, when enrolled in an institute / university, can play a big positive role.
