How to enroll to study as a dentist

The work of the dentist requires perseverance, calmness and complete concentration, while it is considered one of the most paid among medical specialties. If you have been fond of biology and chemistry since childhood, you can boast of iron nerves and strive for new knowledge - you can well learn how to become a dentist. You can go to study as a dentist both in a higher educational institution, and in a specialized secondary.

Choose the educational institution in which you want to study at the dentist, it is better to do several, but no more than five. Be prepared for the fact that in large reputable universities there is a big competition and it is much more difficult to enter. You can start your education from a college or school, they have lower requirements for applicants, and you need to study only 3 years. But keep in mind that if you want, after receiving a secondary education, to study further, you will not have any advantages and benefits when entering a university (not counting, of course, a better knowledge of subjects).

Exams for admission to an educational institution are passed at school, this is the exam (single state exam). To enter a university, as a rule, you need results in chemistry, biology, the Russian language and physics (physics is not required everywhere). To enter a school or college, prepare the results in chemistry and the Russian language, and it will also be useful to know the basics of artistic modeling.

Submit the necessary documents to the selection committee. Be sure to fill out an application for admission and provide the original document of education (certificate of secondary full or primary vocational education). In addition, you will need photographs of 3x4 cm, USE certificates conducted this year, as well as documents on benefits to which the applicant has the right to admit. Additionally, you may need a medical certificate and a military ID (or a certificate of a citizen to be drafted). Due to the general distribution of the Internet, the first set of documents to most educational institutions can be submitted electronically (however, if you do, you still have to go).

Try to enter a budget (free) place. There are few budget places (and become smaller every year), so the competition for them is big. In order to enter, it is necessary to have very good results of the Unified State Examination, so start with school very actively studying botany, zoology, biology, anatomy, organic and inorganic chemistry, and solve chemical problems. If you still don’t have enough points, do not give up your dream, go to the paid department.
