Decide which director you want to be. There are a great many options: film director, sound engineer, director of performances, holidays, videos, television programs.

Aim for a particular university you want to go to, because each of them conducts different creative tests, which you need to prepare for in advance. Among the educational institutions that educate future Mikhalkovs are: Schukinsky, Shchepkinsky Theater Schools, VGIK, GITIS, MITRO, GITR, MGUKI.

Pass the exam in Russian language and literature. The higher your score, the more chances to enter. But still, it is talent that is the main determining factor for success.

Acting tour. Be prepared to read a fable, prose, and a poem. He is not in all universities. For example, theater schools consider it important that the director be a good actor and understand what he reads.

Interview Check out the theory of the profession. After all, if you are going to devote yourself to some business, you need to know everything about him. Learn the concept of directors, playwrights, composers, artists, basic terms and history. For an interview, your knowledge of the profession and the intellectual level as a whole will be checked.

Paperwork. What it will be is not exactly known. Some institutions require an essay on a specific topic, others require an autobiography in an artistic style, and others require photographs. Such tests make it possible to identify professional skills and the director's type of thinking.

And finally, the practical part. Before the commission you will be asked to stage a director's study with the participation of the same applicants as you.
