A small child usually does not think about whether he makes sounds correctly or not. Problems usually arise in older preschool or school age. Peers begin to laugh at a child who incorrectly pronounces certain sounds. In addition, it is more difficult for a person with phonetic disturbances to learn to write correctly. There may be difficulties with learning a foreign language. Sometimes you need to learn to pronounce certain sounds on purpose. Such sounds include hissing, especially the sound "g".

You will need

  • mirror

  • pencil

  • paper

  • pictures or toys with images of objects in the name of which there is a sound "f"

  • collection of proverbs and tongue twisters

Instruction manual

one

Learn to relax your tongue. To do this, use the following exercise. Put your tongue on your lower teeth. Imagine it is a pancake or tortilla. Bite your tongue lightly with your upper teeth. Do this a few times. Allow the tongue to rest calmly on the lower teeth and repeat the exercise. Perform this exercise several times a day until you learn how to do it without stress.

2

Fold your hands in a cup. Try to repeat the position of the hands with the tongue. It is better if the tongue is behind the teeth. If it doesn’t work, try first making the “cup” with your tongue sticking out in front of the mirror.

3

Having learned to make a “cup” behind your teeth, pronounce the sound “z” in this position. It will turn out "the same", but at first it is not very correct. Repeat this exercise several times a day until it starts to turn out freely.

4

Start typing the sound "g" in syllables and short words. First, choose words that begin with this sound - beetle, roasting pan, roast, heat. You can draw a beech F in the center of the sheet, and write vowels in columns on the sides. Combine the letter "g" with all the vowels and read the resulting syllables. When you start to get syllables starting with "w", complicate the task. Say the vowel first, then the syllable starting with “w” - “already”, “already” and so on. Learn to pronounce the sound "w" in the middle of a word. If you are learning to pronounce the sound of a child, pick up the pictures - “circle”, “meadow”, “horn”.

5

Look for tongue twisters based on hissing sounds. Speak them slowly but clearly first, then faster and faster.

note

You need to do a little, but regularly. Take time to exercise two to three times a day.

Useful advice

If it is not immediately possible to imagine the language flat, use a mirror. The tongue should be flat and broad.
