The plot lies in the very initial moment of the development of events, which are depicted in a literary work. It can be a prepared exposition, or, in the absence of special preparation, it can give the action a special unique sharpness and swiftness. From the beginning, the action itself begins.

The climax is the highest degree of tension in the work. For example, in the comedy A.S. Griboedov's “Woe from Wit” culmination is the scene when Chatsky is declared crazy. Particularly acute climax is observed in dramatic works. The climax is the center of the main action, the participants of which are the main characters of the work of art.

The final point in the development of the action is the denouement. She removes the climax and completes the character. The denouement of a work of art depends on the idea and intent of the author.
