Now every graduate of the school, as well as parents of eleventh graders, are faced with the exam. While waiting for the exam results, they often have questions: what is the primary and test points, how to calculate the primary point on a stobal scale.

Graduates should be aware that the result of a single state exam is not a primary score, but a test score. It will be he who will ultimately be entered in the document required for admission to a higher educational institution, that is, in the “Certificate of the results of a unified state exam”.

How to calculate the primary score, schoolchildren roughly know. For example, in the work on the Russian language in block A, one point is awarded for each correctly completed task, in block B for tasks one through seven, also one point, but for task B8 you can immediately get four points. In block C, the graduate can count on the number of points from 1 to 23.
As a result, the primary point in the Russian language can be sixty-four. Accordingly, sixty-four primary points are equated to one hundred test points.

But how to translate, for example, forty primary?
Each year, while summing up the grades of schoolchildren, the heads of the scaling and statistics department of the Federal Testing Center carry out scoring and draw up a scale where primary and test scores are entered. Every year it can be different.
Currently, points obtained in the exam are not translated into assessment. It is only necessary to overcome the minimum threshold in order to obtain a certificate.

As an example, we can consider the transfer of primary scores to test scores in physics in 2011.

Pay attention to the formula.
K is the number of questions in the assignment (or the total number of primary points). The level of knowledge of the student is determined only by the number of correctly completed tasks (from 0 to K, total K + 1 gradations) and does not depend on their set.
