How to move from one university to another

Today, getting a higher education is not a problem. But it may turn out that at the institute or university where you study, something does not suit you: high pay, low level of teaching, or even remoteness from home. Or your financial situation has improved, and you can afford to study at a more prestigious educational institution. In this case, you can always transfer to another university.

According to the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation dated 02.24.98, in order to transfer to another university, you must apply with the application addressed to the rector of the institution of your choice. Attach a copy of the gradebook to the application. Wait for the results of certification. During certification, the commission will review your gradebook and if it turns out that you have not studied any subjects or studied to a lesser extent, then you will have to hand them over so that there is no academic debt.

When transferring to another faculty, the receiving party will independently determine the set of subjects that you need to pass. Optional items can be counted without retake. If your transfer is approved by the university, you will receive a certificate stating that you will be credited with a transfer to this university.

Write an application for expulsion, in connection with the transfer to another educational institution, in the name of your rector. Attach to the application a statement issued to you about your intention to credit you with a transfer. Within 10 days, an order will be issued on your expulsion in connection with the transfer to another university. As soon as such an order is ready, take the school certificate or other document that you handed in upon receipt, as well as an academic certificate of achievement.

Hand over a test book and a student ID. They will be stored in your personal file along with the deduction order and a copy of the education certificate.

As soon as you receive all the necessary documents in your hands, contact them at the institution of your choice. The rector will issue an order for your admission. Also, you can approve an individual lesson plan with a list of disciplines that you must study and pass on time (if you are transferred to a similar or adjacent faculty, then the list of subjects to be passed will most likely be minimal). Get a gradebook and student card.
