How to draw up a title page of an essay

Composing is a creative miniature work of a school student. It is designed to develop speech, thinking, the ability to analyze, draw conclusions and put thoughts into words. Among other things, the essay prepares the student for writing future creative and scientific works - essays, term papers, etc. Making the title page of an essay is an important stage, because it is he who creates the first impression of the work.

Finished work, handwritten on notebook sheets, with a blank first page - if you are writing a standard essay; or typed work on a computer with an empty title page - if you are composing an essay on a computer.

A work, in contrast to the above types of work, is written by hand, and not typed in a text editor on a computer. Therefore, initially the essay is written on a sheet of notebook format, lined in a printing house and with the presence of fields. Often ordinary works are written in a special writing book. However, there are exceptional cases (for example, a competition) when the finished work may be asked to be issued in print.

If the work is written by hand, then the title page is signed in the same way as notebooks are signed: in the center of the sheet, slightly above the middle, in the column: (Final / examination / own version) composition_in_Russian_language_and_literature_ (in literature / in Russian / own version) of the student (Цы) _7а_ class_shkoly_ № 5_Family_Name.

If you draw up a sheet of A4 format, then the cover page will look like this.

The top heading is the full name of the school, for example:

School-Lyceum № 8

The next heading is the title of the work, for example:

Examination essay (or work)

Below is a line indicating the subject, for example:

in Russian (written with a small letter)

Next, the theme of the composition is drawn up, for example:

on the topic "M. Bulgakov Dog Heart".

By stepping back a few lines, draw up your copyright data, "aligning" them to the right edge of the page.

Next, write the last name and first name in the genitive case.

Indicate the teacher below:

Teacher: Surname I.O.

At the very bottom of the page in the center, indicate the city and the current year.

An essay is a work combining knowledge of the Russian language and literature, therefore, when checking the work, not only the ability to express a thought is evaluated, but also the literacy of its design. In other words, when evaluating an essay, all possible errors are considered - spelling, punctuation, etc. Their presence lowers the score.
