How to write an essay about mom

Mom is a close and dear person, about whom much can be said, but for a good composition, you still need a plan. Spontaneous presentation of thoughts will make the work inconsistent, chaotic, it will take a lot of time.

Describe in a draft three to five facts from mom’s childhood and youth. Remember what she was talking about, which seemed funny. Maybe you need to ask mom more. Think about whether it would be appropriate to share this with others by writing an essay. Find the right moments and express them in a few sentences. Something like this may turn out: my mother learned to read at the age of five and finished school well; she knows how to cook deliciously, because from the third grade she studied in a culinary circle; mother in the tenth grade went on a tour of the hero cities and made a beautiful album about the trip, which has survived to this day.

Remember three to five interesting cases from real life. Write them down as briefly: mom works as an accountant at a bakery because she graduated from a financial college; she bakes delicious cakes on Saturdays and teaches two daughters to this; On Sundays, Mom and I go to exhibitions to learn art.

Describe three to five goals that mom wants. Not everyone likes to talk about plans for the future, so think about what it is worth writing in the essay. Mark the relevant points with brief phrases: in ten years, mom expects to have an orchard, because she planted fruit seedlings in the country; she seeks to give children a good education, etc.

Using the results of the first three steps, draw up an essay plan. Written work consists of three parts - introduction, main part and conclusion. Instead of the main part, write in the plan prepared short phrases about your mother’s life in the past, present and future.

Expand in detail on the draft each point of the plan to get an essay. Imagine telling your mom about friends. Look at the plan and write a paragraph for each item. An introduction and conclusion can be written at the very end. In conclusion, summarize, for example, why you want to imitate mom. In the introduction, describe in a few sentences what the essay is about.

When the work is ready, put the draft aside and do other things to slightly forget the text. After a few hours or the next day, read the essay aloud and immediately correct the places where thoughts are expressed clumsily. When everything is ready, copy the text into a notebook.
