How to write an introspection of pedagogical activity

The self-analysis of pedagogical activity is a document drawn up by the teacher himself in order to assess the level of growth of his mastery over the past three years and demonstrate it to supervisory organizations. As an epigraph, you can choose a quote from classics or authors on pedagogy. In the introduction, write the basic principle that guides you in your teaching work. This will interest the reviewer and give him the opportunity to immediately evaluate you as a versatile person with his own position on key issues.

Start the main part with an indication of your education, teaching experience and current place of work. Describe the basic and additional load that you carry in the educational institution (classroom management, study groups, amateur clubs, etc.) You can mention the name of the training courses in which you teach lessons.

Write about the achievements of your wards: participation in competitions and contests, obtaining diplomas and awards, their subsequent study at higher educational institutions. Describe how you see the ultimate goal of your work (the formation of what skills and abilities of students) and what methods you are guided by in this.

The search for the place and significance of their work in the context of the entire educational process is perhaps the most difficult place for introspection. You are required to demonstrate an understanding of how the discipline you are teaching is related to other subjects and courses, what is the significance of your classes for the formation of a holistic personality of the student.

In your work you need to reflect not only all the facets of your pedagogical experience, but also describe the dynamics of the development of your professional skills. To do this, you need to evaluate how the effectiveness of your work with students has changed. In the qualification work, you do not just talk about your teaching career, but summarize achievements for a specific period.

The volume of qualification work for the II pedagogical category should be at least 8-10 pages, for the I category - from 10-12 pages, for the highest category - at least 12-15 pages.
