How to change your handwriting

Find a handwriting sample that you like. If one of your friends has a suitable manner of writing, ask him to write a short text for you in which the maximum number of letters of the alphabet and various prepositions and words are found. However, if you just want to change your handwriting for the better, and not make it look like someone else's, you can use copybooks for elementary school as a sample and standard of writing.

Of course, now your body position at the desk will not be so important, as it was at school, but, nevertheless, in order not to damage your posture and spine, try to keep your back straight and not lean on your writing hand. Ideally, if it turns out to maintain an angle between the shoulder and forearm of the hand at 90 degrees. In this position, it is written easier and more freely. Do not forget that the elbow of the writing hand should lie completely on the table and not hang down, otherwise you will spend additional efforts to keep it on weight, and the handwriting will suffer.

Take a certain amount of time each day to practice a new handwriting. When filling out the recipe, take your time, as accurately and carefully as possible, observe the spelling of all the details: various hooks, lines and letter-connecting elements. If you have a sample of another person’s handwriting before your eyes, carefully consider the main elements that make up the letters. Try to understand by pressing force and other signs, from what point the spelling of each letter begins and where it ends. Play single letters on a piece of paper and then some words. If desired, lay on top a thin paper through which the written words are visible, so that they can be circled. Start by slowly writing letters and gradually bring your writing closer to the original you are learning from.

To change your handwriting, try writing with a pencil first, as graphite slides on paper more easily than a ballpoint pen, and it will be easier for you to display letters that match the pattern. As soon as you feel that you have sufficiently secured the muscle memory of the hand, return to the ballpoint pen and try to write in your new, "improved" handwriting.
