How to quickly fix grades

Shortly before the end of the quarter or at the end of the school year, many students are faced with the need to quickly correct current grades in order to obtain a higher quarter (final). This task can be accomplished using any (legal) opportunity to solve this problem.

Try to quickly learn the material on which you are not satisfied with your grades. Formulas and rules on a problematic topic you must know by heart if you want to rectify the situation. In addition, pay attention to the practical part, in addition to theory: tasks and exercises should also not cause difficulties for you.

If you cannot independently understand this topic, ask your teacher to help you, and if such help is impossible (the teacher does not have time, you have a conflict with him, you do not understand his explanations, etc.) - to the tutor. Can you find the latter by checking with your classmates and students in other classes? or by looking at local newspaper ads. You can also find out from another teacher, for example, in mathematics, in this school, whether he agrees to provide you with paid help.

After you feel confident in your knowledge and the ability to retake the material for which you have low marks, go to your teacher (it is better to do this in a calm environment, when no one will bother you) and ask him to help you correct your marks. Clearly motivate your desire by the fact that you do not want to be a “triple” or that you need a higher score in this subject to enter the institute. Say that you regret that you were previously irresponsible about the subject, that you realized its importance and seriousness for you. Speak politely, clearly and convincingly. The teacher should see your desire to rectify the situation.

Ask your teacher to assign you an additional test or tests on topics that cause you difficulty; give you a creative task (for example, write an abstract or prepare a report on any of the topics), etc. Be prepared for the fact that now you have to study with one hundred percent return, not hoping to cheat and prompt friends.

If the situation is such that you urgently need to correct grades not in one, but in several subjects, make a lesson schedule for each of them, forget about entertainment for a while and focus completely on your studies, clearly imagining the goal for which you strive for? and systematically achieving its implementation.
