The employer may require a student test if the student is applying for a part-time job, or if the employee of the military registration and enlistment office compiles the personal file of the young man. Such a document should contain a list of business, professional and psychological qualities of the student.

Key points to be addressed in the document

Initially, the characteristics of the student should include information about the organization. It can be a corner stamp with the address, name, contact details and phone number. Then a headline is written that includes biographical information about the student or trainee. For example, "Characteristic of a 3rd year student at the State Pedagogical University Sidorov Matvey Igorevich, born in 1996." It is recommended here to indicate a part of additional data: the full name of the department, the exact place of practice.

The next block is intended to list the professional and educational qualities of the student. Among them can be noted diligence, responsibility, level of knowledge, persistence in achieving the goal, craving for independent study of subjects, experienced difficulties in the team.

If a document is required at the military registration and enlistment office, it makes sense to indicate the overall student performance, to assess the craving for certain disciplines. It is necessary to characterize the individual in terms of attitude to work and study in general, as well as to assess physical fitness. It should be noted that there is an additional specialty, if any.

When the characterization is compiled at the place where the student has undergone practice, all types of work that he managed to master are necessarily indicated. In addition, it will be useful to specify the level and quality of knowledge gained.
