Instruction manual

one

In complex sentences, the subordinate clause is connected with the main one with the help of the union. If the subordinate clause refers to the subject and in any way describes its properties, such a clause is a sentence with a definitive subordinate clause.

2

Sub-substantive-definitive sentences are sentences in which the subordinate part supplements the main, they are of two types:

- the main part without the subordinate clause cannot express a complete thought and needs to be generalized;

- the subordinate clause supplements the main thing, expanding its meaning.

3

Applicable and definitive sentences. In such sentences, the subordinate clause refers to the pronoun of the main part, it expands and complements the pronoun of the main part.

4

For the connection of the main and subordinate parts in a complex sentence are alliances and allied words. It can be simple unions (although, if, in order to, like, what, etc.) and compound (since, because, because, meanwhile), unions are placed in the subordinate part of the sentence. Sometimes unions are divided, part of the union may be in the main part of a complex sentence. The main and subordinate clauses are always separated by commas.

5

To relate the main and subordinate parts, relative words can be used - pronouns that are in the main sentence and attach the subordinate clause to themselves.

6

According to the type of relations, complex sentences are of two types: notorious and not verbose.

In a notional sentence, the subordinate part refers to a single word or phrase from the main one, supplementing or expanding its meaning.

In unexplained sentences, the subordinate part refers to the whole main part, in this case the main part expresses a complete thought and without a subordinate part represents a full-fledged sentence.
