How French agriculture differs from Russian

In France, farming accounts for a large share of the agricultural industry. In Russia, it’s difficult to maintain one’s economy. The difference is not only in economic conditions, but also in the climate characteristics of the two countries.

French agriculture

France is one of the first places in the production of meat, dairy products and eggs. Accordingly, this is a country with a high level of development of livestock and poultry. France produces more than 400 varieties of cheese. It is the world's largest producer of wheat, oil, meat. In terms of production, the country ranks 1st among the countries of Western Europe. And 3rd place in the world after the USA and Canada.

Forms of housekeeping are mainly cooperatives. They operate in all areas of production. So in the field of winemaking they provide at least 50% of the product. They account for 30% of canned vegetables, 25% of the meat trade.

Manages agriculture in France, the state through a system of state specialized bodies. There are also branch societies. Credit Agricole Bank, the Fund for Economic and Social Development assist in the economic development of farming. An important role in the development is played by the climatic conditions of the country. Basically it is a marine, moderately warm and humid climate.
