Nowadays, when almost any building is equipped with at least the simplest electrical wiring, the profession of electrician is very in demand, so more and more applicants are configured to receive this profession.

Education

The minimum basic education to begin training in the profession of an electrician is an incomplete secondary education. This means that in order to start learning this profession, it is necessary to finish at least 9 classes of a secondary school. You can find a specialty "electrician" in a technical school, vocational technical school or college in almost any Russian city of regional significance. There are also special training centers that provide training for specialists in this area.

Personal qualities

Despite the apparent availability of this profession, becoming a good electrician is not so simple. You must have a technical mindset, be able to work with your hands and think logically. Also, due to the high risk of injury, a potential electrician should be careful and be able to concentrate well during work.

Electrical Safety Groups and Discharges

At the end of the training course in the specialty "Electrician", the student, depending on the fullness of the training course and the results of the final exam, receives either the second or third qualification level. There are six discharges for electricians; there are also five so-called tolerance groups (electrical safety groups). Do not confuse the discharge of an electrician with an electrician approval group. The discharge shows the qualification of an electrician, then how much complex work he is capable of performing in his field. The admission group, in turn, shows the level of danger that the employee can handle. The larger the category and the access group the electrician has, the more he is in demand and the higher the salary that the employer can offer him.
