How to enter the railway institute

Choose one or several specialties for admission to the railway institute: manager, economist, railway engineer, service specialist, etc.

Pass the exam in a general educational institution or take testing at the university itself. To enter the railway institute, you need to pass 3 exams. For most specialties, Russian and mathematics are needed, and the third, depending on the chosen specialty, it can be social studies, physics, history, literature, computer science, biology, geography or a foreign language.

The deadlines for admission tests to the Institute of Railway Transport are indicated in the selection committee and on the website. In some railway institutes, the third exam must be taken orally.

Submit the following documents to the Institute selection committee or by mail:

- copy or original certificate of education;

- a copy or original certificate with the results of the exam;

- copy of the passport;

- 6 black and white photos 3x4 cm with a corner on the right.

For each specialty, you need a separate package of all documents. Originals can be handed over if you want to enter the railway institute for only one specialty.

If the applicant has an electronic digital signature in accordance with federal law of 10.01.2002 No. 1-FZ "On electronic digital signature", then you can send documents by e-mail.

Find out the results of the competitive selection. If you go to the institute of railway transport to a budget place, then hand over the originals of documents (when delivering copies), if for paid tuition, then pay for the first course of the necessary specialty and bring the originals.

Wait for admission to the railway institute. After enrollment, usually at the end of August, a student meeting is held to briefly discuss the course program. Then the class schedule is posted and training begins.
