Paid higher education is becoming more common. But not all students know that even having entered an extra-budgetary place, one can eventually transfer to where the state will bear the cost of training. So how do you transfer from a paid branch to a budget?

Find out if such an option is provided for by university rules. This is usually permissible when a number of requirements are met and budget space is available. For example, in some universities, translation is possible only with a high average grade point score and the absence of triples.

Get the best grades on exams and tests, participate in the internal affairs of the university. Social activities can also be credited to you as a plus when considering your candidacy.

Regularly, after each session, check in the dean’s office whether there are currently vacant budget places in your specialty. If you receive a positive response, file an application addressed to the rector. But, since there may be several such people, you will not have guarantees for a successful translation. If your application is approved, you can stop paying starting from the next semester or year, depending on the decision of the university.

If you are no longer able to pay for your studies, and there are no vacancies funded by the state at your university, try contacting another university. With a good combination of circumstances, you may be able to transfer to the budget department of another educational institution of similar specialization. Usually this is possible in those universities where competition is low.

There is a misconception, because of which recent students do not always want to apply for a transfer to the budget department. According to him, after receiving one education at his own expense, it will be possible to get the second at the expense of the budget. This is a misinterpretation of the law, in fact, a person is given the opportunity to receive budget funding only for the first education. Therefore, you should try to transfer to the budget, even in the last year of high school.
