How to write a conclusion on practice

During production practice, the student must learn a lot, including analyzing the work of both individual employees and the enterprise as a whole. The trainee must demonstrate his skill in the report. The introduction usually gives brief information about the enterprise, technologies and scientific developments that are used there. In the main part, the student describes what he did during practice, and in conclusion, the result of all the work is summarized and conclusions are drawn.

Write the report itself. An approximate sample of the design of this document is usually given in an educational institution, as well as methodological recommendations for it. Read them carefully. They indicate the exact requirements for this kind of work, adopted exactly at your educational institution. There are some general requirements. For example, the conclusion should be rather short. It takes no more than two pages.

Indicate what production process you participated in during the practice, what technologies and scientific developments are applied in it, whether this technology is a development of the collective of a given enterprise, or if an existing one has been adapted to the specific needs. Think about whether the company has enough resources to work on this technology. If the answer is no, analyze what opportunities the company lacks for more successful activities. This will be one of your conclusions.

Evaluate the personnel potential of the company. Write how many employees of what specialties work there, how much their number and qualifications correspond to the needs of production. If you notice that some specialists are clearly not enough, do not forget to indicate this. The conclusion may look something like this: "Thus, the enterprise has sufficient personnel potential for the successful implementation of the production process of such and such goods."

Briefly describe the difficulties the company is facing. Tell us what, in your opinion, the company has the ability to overcome them. This may be a change in marketing policy, a new principle of organization of production, the use of new technologies. The conclusion should be based solely on your own observations.

Think about the prospects for the company. Have you seen new opportunities for development and which ones? Write whether the development of new technologies is possible and what is needed for this. This will be another conclusion in your report.

In some universities, trainees are required to evaluate their own activities during practice. In the conclusion about your own work, indicate what you have learned and how much the company needs specialists of your profile and your qualifications. Do not forget to write what production tasks you helped to solve.
