How to fill a portfolio to school

In many modern schools, such an unusual way of recording, accumulating and evaluating each student’s personal achievements over a certain period of time as a portfolio is already practiced with might and main. Ease of use of the portfolio largely depends on its proper filling.

To begin filling out a student’s portfolio, follow the title page. There are no strict rules to follow when creating it. Design the title page as you like. Let it be as original and interesting as possible. In addition to the start date of the collection of information, the title page of the portfolio may contain, for example, a funny or unusual photograph of a child.

The front page of the portfolio for the school should also contain such student data as his name, surname, date of birth, number and name of the educational institution he attends.

Having filled out the title page, proceed to filling out the contents of the portfolio. The content should contain the names of the sections of the portfolio with page numbers.

Display on the pages of the school portfolio all the successes and achievements of the child in educational activities, for example, participation in scientific and practical conferences, subject Olympiads, school seminars and round tables. Devote a separate portfolio folder to a collection of originals and copies of documents confirming the results achieved: letters of thanks, letters of appreciation, certificates of participation, diplomas.

Devote a separate portfolio folder to the student’s research work: essays, essays, published articles and notes, original essays, materials from experiments.

Find a place in the portfolio for the folder with a description of the extracurricular activities of the student. For example, if a child is involved in sports, put his diplomas, certificates, medals, photos from competitions and sports rallies in this folder.

The most successful creative work of the student, for example, drawings, embroidery, appliqués, must also be placed in his portfolio. Do not forget about the verses and stories written by the child.

Fill in a separate sheet of the student’s portfolio with photographs from school events: tourist gatherings, sporting events, KVN, theater productions in which he was directly involved.

Write a short essay about a child. Expand the main features of his character. Tell us how he communicates with other guys.
