How to recover at the institute if you are expelled

Regardless of the form of study, students have the right to continue their education, even if they were expelled. Grades received at the university are valid for five years. It is for this period that the student retains the right to restoration at the institute.

Before the start of the school year, write a statement to the dean of the university in which you studied that you want to continue your education. If you expelled of your own free will for a good reason, the institute will restore your student status from that course and in the form of training in which you studied before expulsion. At the same time, you should not have debts, and the reasons for failure to appear on exams and tests should be documented, for example, by a sick leave certificate.

If you are expelled for academic failure, a serious violation of the internal routine or on your own without specifying reasons, the decision on your restoration will be made by the university’s leadership on the basis of the charter of this institution. Ask for a copy of this document and read it carefully. The conditions for reinstatement in each educational institution are different, and some institutes shorten the application period. Write a statement to the dean of your desire to continue your studies. Personally meet with the dean of your faculty and discuss your situation. Given the availability of seats and the positive impression of leadership, the restoration is quite real.

After considering the application, you will be asked to repay your debts and begin to study from the semester from which you were expelled. With this application and a workaround, privately hand over all existing debts. If this fails, the previous semester will have to go through again. You may be offered contracted training. In some institutions, the recovery procedure itself is paid. Recovery is only possible with availability. If the number of people wishing to continue their studies is greater than the number of free places, enrollment can take place on a competitive basis, for which a special commission is created.

If the institution you were previously a member of has refused, ask him for an academic certificate of incomplete higher education or a state diploma of incomplete higher education, as well as a copy of your gradebook. With these documents, contact other educational institutions of a similar profile. On the basis of the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated October 21, 2009 No. 442, you can continue to study in them, starting with the course from which you were expelled, or a little earlier if the training programs differ.

You can recover only in the second and subsequent training courses. Those expelled from the first and second semester must go to college on a common basis.
