Construction is one of the fastest growing sectors of the Russian economy. Construction professions are attractive because there is always work, it is often well paid, and in addition, many construction companies provide their workers with a substantial social package. Decide what you would like to do on a construction site. There are a lot of construction professions, including bricklayers, concrete workers, and surveyors, crane operators, finishers, engineers, and many others.

Construction workers can be obtained at primary vocational education institutions. In different regions they are called differently - vocational schools, polytechnic lyceums, etc. You can enter on the basis of 9 or 11 classes. Entrance tests in vocational schools are not carried out, enough evidence or certificate. A list of other documents can be found on the official website of the institution.

It is possible to master a working specialty directly in production. Some large construction companies, due to a shortage of personnel, are recruiting students without any qualifications. Ads are usually published in city newspapers, as well as on the website of the local Employment Center.

Any construction organization has a great need for specialists with secondary technical education. These are masters, foremen, technicians, surveyors, etc. You can get a secondary technical education at a construction college. These are such specialties as 270101 "Architecture", 270802 "Construction and operation of buildings and structures", 270837 "Construction and operation of urban railways", 270809 "Production of non-metallic building products and structures" and a number of other professions necessary for any serious construction company. At the end, the graduate is assigned the qualification of “technician”. For the specialty "Architecture", applicants pass an exam in the drawing.

You can become a civil engineer by graduating at one of the construction universities. The most popular specialty –270102 "Industrial and civil construction". But in construction universities you can get and specialties 270105 "Urban construction and economy", 270106 "Production of building materials, products and structures", 270114 "Design of buildings." Upon completion, a bachelor, master or specialist qualification is awarded. For admission, in addition to the document on education, you will also need certificates for passing unified state exams according to the list determined by the university.

Some specialties can also be obtained at universities or colleges of a different orientation. For example, geodetic professions can be learned at geological higher and secondary specialized educational institutions.
