With the introduction of the Unified State Examination in Russia, which is both the final exam at school and the entrance exam at the university, the problem of passing the entrance exam seems to have disappeared. However, everything is not so simple. Firstly, many institutes and universities did not abandon this practice and only renamed exams for interviews. Secondly, entrance exams exist in many other forms - for example, you will have to pass some tests or pass an interview if you want to enroll in foreign language courses or classes related to continuing education. So how do you prepare for this test?

You will need

First of all, you need to find out exactly what knowledge you will need to demonstrate. Should they write an essay, show their knowledge of geography or tell something in a foreign language?

Instruction manual

one

Find out what examiners have for each test. Perhaps you can get a program, a list of textbooks that you recommend to study on, questions or tasks from past years, test examples, etc. Gather all these materials and try to assess whether you have enough knowledge to pass the exam or if you have to make considerable efforts to master new materials.

If you will prepare yourself, then make a clear lesson plan. How much time per day will you devote to them, which subjects cause you the greatest difficulties, and which ones you will be able to pass almost without preparation? Make a schedule and set yourself a minimum norm, for example, on a day you must solve at least 10 problems or read and learn 30 pages of a textbook. Adhere to this norm and try not to indulge yourself, otherwise before the exams it turns out that nothing has been learned, and there is no time left for anything.

If you understand that you have problems with self-organization, it is best to practice with a tutor or go to courses. However, this type of training does not eliminate the need for self-study. If you do not have the opportunity to contact a tutor or go to courses, then there is another option. It may well be that among your friends or relatives there are those who can help you with the development of materials - ask them for help, let them give you tasks and set clear deadlines for their implementation. In case of difficulty, you can contact them with a question.

On the eve of exams, do not stay up late with textbooks. Better to sleep than to learn a couple more pages. If you are too nervous, then drink some mild sedative. During the exam, do not think that you know nothing and forget everything - if you were preparing, then you will manage, and a panic will only lead to the fact that you will not be able to concentrate. Remember that exams are just another test, which there will be many more in your life, and failure is not punishable by death, and examiners are people like you: they sat in your place at the time and also passed exams. And not a feather or a feather!
