How to enter a river school

Many young people literally rave about water and shipping. Therefore, as their future profession, they choose specialties related to the fleet. But here, what exactly is needed to enter a river school without problems, not everyone knows.

If you are going to enter a river school after you have finished the 11th grade of a comprehensive school, then you will need the results of the Unified State Examination (USE). As a rule, the admission commissions of river schools are interested in the following disciplines: Russian, mathematics and physics. In some cases (for certain faculties) they may be asked to provide the USE results in history, social studies and a foreign language.

If you want to go to college after graduating from 9th grade, then the selection committee will also be interested in the results of your final exams. In this case, this is the state final certification (GIA). You can assess your chances of being admitted on your own if you take the 100-point grading scale as the basis for your calculations. So, for example, in Russian, your points should be at least 20 out of 36 possible. In mathematics, 8 out of 24. If you do not have them or they do not reach the required number, then you will have to go through entrance tests at the school itself. They provide for the surrender of the Russian language (you have to write a dictation) and mathematics (pass the test).

Some schools have practices such as preparatory courses. To make it easier to pass all entrance tests, experts recommend visiting them. After all, they are led by those teachers who will later train students in the educational institution. And they better than anyone know what they ask for entrance examinations.

From the documents you must submit to the selection committee an application for admission to the school, exam results or certificate, a medical certificate (form 086), as well as 4 photos of size 3 x 4. And of course you will be asked for a passport as an identity document. In short, the set is the same as in any other educational institution.

Examinations take place in the summer. As a rule, in July. Therefore, documents must be submitted already in June.
