How to get a clearance group

Electrical safety access groups should be received by all employees of enterprises who, in the performance of their duties in the course of their labor activity, deal with electrical appliances. Assignment of access groups is carried out directly in organizations or in training centers licensed by Rostekhnadzor.

Decide on obtaining an electrical safety clearance group with your immediate supervisor. If you are applying for a job for the first time and your profession belongs to the category of electrical personnel, then the person responsible for the electrical sector will assign you II admission group after training in the amount of 72 training hours. After working out experience with the II group of admission from one to three months, you can get the III group.

Talk with your supervisor about upgrading your admission group. You will be sent for training to a training center licensed by Rostekhnadzor. After training at the expense of organizing and passing the test you will be assigned the III admission group. You can also get it directly at the enterprise by passing an examination by the certification commission. In this case, you will need to study all the theoretical questions on electrical safety yourself. Having worked with the III tolerance group for three to six months, you can get the IV group and above if there is a production need.

Take electrical safety training from the organization if you are applying for a job with a certificate from your previous job to confirm the admission group indicated in it. Training is at the expense of the employer. After passing the exam you will be issued a new certificate with the name and seal of the company in which you will work. The validity of the electrical safety approval is 1 year (provided that you work in the same organization during this period).

If you are not an employee of any organization that has an electrical facilities, having independently applied to a training center, you will not be able to get an electrical safety clearance group.
