School graduates, in order to enter a higher educational institution, must correctly and in a timely manner submit documents to universities. In many respects, admission to entrance examinations and, accordingly, admission to an institute or university depends on this.

Instruction manual

Despite the fact that the introductory campaign in all universities takes place in the summer from July to August, it is necessary to clarify the exact dates for accepting documents at the institution of your choice.

2

You can submit documents to the university personally (bring them to the selection committee). If the institute of your choice is located in another region, the package of documents is sent by mail or the application is filled out via the Internet. But be sure to check in universities where you intend to enroll, whether they practice all of the above methods of receiving documents from applicants or not.

3

Make photocopies of your passport, certificate of passing the exam and certificate. Do not forget to assure them of a notary public. Universities usually accept the standard set of documents established by the Ministry of Education. It includes a passport (in case of loss - a certificate taken in the passport office), and it is also possible to provide an international passport as an identity document; certificate of secondary education; certificate of passing the Unified State Exam; 3x4 photos from 4 to 6 pieces (the number should be clarified at the university); medical certificate form 086-y (it is required upon admission to full-time). Be sure to attach copies of letters of appreciation, certificates of completion of various courses and any other documents that characterize you from the best side.

4

Some universities do not require a copy of the certificate of exams. It is enough to indicate in the application the place and year of passing the exam, as well as the number of points scored. In this case, the members of the selection committee themselves verify the accuracy of the information provided by the applicant.

5

If you hand over the documents personally, then the university will definitely check the availability of all necessary copies and certificates, check them with the originals, members of the selection committee will also help you correctly and correctly write the application. If you send documents by mail, check and double-check yourself: have you collected all the portfolios for entering a university. Send a package of documents by registered mail with a notification.

6

School graduates have the right to submit documents to five universities at once, in each of which to choose three areas of preparation. That is, at the same time qualify for fifteen budget places.

7

Each applicant decides for himself how to use the provided opportunities. Thanks to the unified state exam, an applicant can submit applications indicating the points scored when passing the USE at once to several faculties and specialties or to one faculty, but different forms of training (full-time, part-time, distance).

eight

Reception of documents begins, as a rule, on June 20 and ends on July 25. This applies to universities that admit students strictly according to the exam. In creative universities, where additional exams and interviews are held, the acceptance of documents ends much earlier - on July 5. On July 27, institutes and universities post lists of all those admitted to the competition for enrollment, and from July 30 to August 5 a list of applicants for budget places is compiled. If you are among those accepted, then by August 9, inclusive, must submit to the selection committee the originals of all documents.

note

The results of the exam are valid for two years. If for this period you for some reason did not enter a university, then you will have to retake the Unified State Exam.

Useful advice

If the university does not comply with the laws of the Russian Federation "On Education", you have the right to file a complaint with Rosobrnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science).
